Skip hire in Peterborough typically runs from around £140 for a 2-yard mini skip up to £340 for a 12-yard maxi skip, including delivery, collection and disposal. The exact price depends on the size and your postcode. If the skip needs to go on a public road rather than your driveway, a council permit is an additional cost which we arrange for you.
If the skip sits entirely on your own driveway or land, you don’t need a permit. If it has to go on a public road or pavement, Peterborough City Council requires a skip permit. We arrange this on your behalf — just let us know where the skip will go when you book and we’ll handle the paperwork.
For orders placed before 11am we can usually deliver the same day across most of the Peterborough area. Otherwise we’ll arrange a next-day slot or whatever time suits you. Just tell us when you need it and we’ll do our best to fit around your job.
As a rough guide: a 2-yard suits small, heavy loads like soil and rubble; a 4-yard covers most kitchen or bathroom refits; an 8-yard is the popular all-rounder for renovations and big garden clears; and a 12-yard handles bulky but lightweight house-clearance waste.
